Austrian blinds provide a traditional look and are a statement piece when added into a room.

Austrian blinds are made with fullness that is twice the track. The cords are attached to the back and are pulled from the bottom to the top. Austrian blinds are made longer than the drop of the window. The extra fabric at the bottom on the blinds form a scallop shape as seen in the photo above.

Generally, austrian blinds are made using lightweight curtain fabric. They tend to hang better and block out more light if they are lined.
